Snow Cover
 Cover for skiing/snowboarding including; Emergency Rescue, Own Ski Equipment, Snow Ski Hire Equipment, Ski Pack, Piste Closure, Bad Weather and Avalanche Closure.
Rental Vehicle Excess Cover
 Covers up to $3,000 Rental Vehicle Insurance Excess or the cost of repairing the vehicle, whichever is the lesser, if the vehicle you have rented is; Involved in an Accident, Damaged or Stolen while in your custody.
Selecting an option in the list above will add to the cover under the policy, and an additional premium will apply. If an option is not available for a particular Plan and you want that cover, you will need to select a different Plan.

Financial strength rating and overseas policyholder preference disclosure notice

The full text of the financial strength rating and overseas policyholder preference disclosure notice (‘Rating Disclosure Notice’) is set out below.

Allianz Australia Insurance Limited has an AA- insurer financial strength rating given by Standard & Poor’s (Australia) Pty Limited.

The rating scale is:

AAA Extremely Strong B Weak
AA Very Strong CCC Very Weak
A Strong CC Extremely Weak
BBB Good R Regulatory Action
BB Marginal  

Plus (+) or minus (-): Ratings from “AA” to “CCC” may be modified by the addition of a plus (+) or minus (-) sign to show relative standings within the major rating categories.

An overseas policyholder preference applies. Under Australian law, if Allianz Australia Insurance Limited is wound up, its assets in Australia must be applied to its Australian liabilities before they can be applied to overseas liabilities. To this extent, New Zealand policyholders may not be able to rely on Allianz Australia Insurance Limited’s Australian assets to satisfy New Zealand liabilities.

YOUR DUTY OF DISCLOSURE

When you apply for insurance or alter this policy, you have a duty at law, to disclose to us all material facts. You must disclose all material facts to us as soon as you become aware of them.
